The items are shipped in boxes with different dimensions, the minimum box we can ship is 18 x 18 x 24. Boxes can be bought from the following stores:
– Uhaul
– Home Depot.
Please make sure you buy the heavy duty boxes so your items can get home to Kenya safe. We also ship items in a 55gallon plastic drum with a metal chime that adds extra support for heavier materials. The drum also comes with a lock for security. We sell 55gallon drums (3ft 6in height, 1ft 11in inside diameter), for only $50 each.
The charges for transporting the drum to Mombasa is $300 and it can carry up to 250 pounds. The transit time is 48 days from the time the container leaves Houston port. It takes 2 weeks to clear the shipment from port.
